Photo shows Alan Turner ploughing at Home Farm, Fairlight Hall. Fairlight church is just visible on the hill. Probably late 1940s. The side view is a Fordson Major tractor, possibly also from Home Farm. The back wheels are 'spade lugs'. Headlights meant workers were able to plough through the night, which many did.

Tony Turner believed this may have been taken at New Barn, Mr Tomsett's farm. The first farm down Rosemary Lane from Pett Road. (Alternatively, according to Tony it might be Wakeham's Farm). The long wooden ladder in the background took three men to stand it upright.

These photos were taken by Tony Turner. He found the wagon, seen in another picture under Wakeham's Farm, and the shafts where Dobbin once stood in the same picture, in a local farm in the 1980s. Tony referred to it as the "Last Sussex Wagon".
